  3. 6 cents , we used our 6 times tables untill we reached the amount that we needed & we came back to 10x6 & it reached the mark.

    1. Great start to your problem solving boys but what was the answer? What was the value of the 'mark' you reached?

  5. 1 cent Because 10x1=10 . Then to get to 12 we can't do so with the 2 left over's we put them as a remainder . Giving us 10r2

    1. True, but what is the value of one cookie? Could we also divide up your remaining 2 dollars between the 10 cookies? Reply below with your answer.

  6. Our answers is $1.20. This is because 1.20, 100= 1 dollar and and there is twenty more cents left. $1 + 20c = $1.20

  7. Its a 1.20 because if you do the 1.00n 10 times it will = 10.00 and if you do 20 cents 10 time it will = 2.00 so its a 1.20 for each biscuit.

    1. Excellent explaining Jayden. Did you find it easier to use your basics facts or by using materials to solve the question?

  8. Our answer is 1.20 because 1 dollar times 10 = 10 then 20 cents times ten = 2.00 and that equals 12.00
