We solved this problem by starting with 54+27 =81. Then we added 13 to the 81 wich equaled 94. And then it said he paid with a 1 dollar and how much change will he get and the answer is six because 94 + something equals 100 and that answer is six. By Marilyn and Jessica.

  2. First we started with plusses and we added the ten's and the equals up to 80. Then we added the ones and that added up to 14 then we added the 80 and the 14 and the equals to 94 and we did 94 + something = 100 By Antonia and Quinlan.

  3. Our ideas was adding tens and ones so the tens added 80 and the ones added to 94 so I counted back 100 to 94 so it equaled 6.

  5. Question (27,c 13,c 54,c that was how many money you needed to buy 3 toys and how many will he get back if he gave 1 dollar) This is how we solved this problem first we started with the big numbers like 20,c 10,c and 50,c that =80. Then we did the small numbers 7,c 3,c 4,c then we went 80+14=94 then we went 94+___+100 that =6 and the answer was 6

  6. If you have 1$ and then minus 54 cents and that makes it 46 cents then you minus 27 from 46 which makes 19 so then 19 minus 13 equals 6 cents so the answer is 6 cents

  7. I did 27+13+54= then I did 27+13 which equals 40. I add 40 with 54 witch now equals 94. I rounded it to the nearest ten witch is 90. After that I did 90+ something=100 and so the answer is 10.

  8. 13+27+54=94
    100 - ----- = 94
    100 - 6 = 94

  9. I did 20 cents+10 cents+50 cents =80 and then 7 cents+3 cents+4 cents =14 cents and then step 80+14=94 which leaves you with 6 cents left.

  10. I did breaking it up, So I did 20 + 10 + 50= 80 then 7 + 3 + 4 =14 then add 80 and 14 together and that makes 94 then you go 94 + _6__ = 100 so the answer is 6.

  12. What I did was I added all the Numbers together. 13 + 27 + 54 = 94 since he has $1 which is like 100 cents so 100 - ____ = 94 and the answer is 6.

  14. I solved this problem by adding 27 and 13 together which equaled 40. Then 40 + 54= 94 then 94+6=$1

  15. I did a strategy called place value to figure this problem out.This is how I did it first I did 27 + 13= 40 and then I did 40 + 54= 94

  16. I solved this problem two ways I did my first strategy adition which I did for the educreation and my second one subtraction which I'm about to show you

    $1-13c=87c
    87c-27c=60c
    60c-54c=6c

  18. I did 27+13+54= 94. Because I knew what 27+13 was equals 40. I add 40 with 54 which now equals 94. After that I did 100-94=6 and thats how I got my answer.

  19. I did 100 - 54 = 46, then 46 - 27 = 19, then I did 19 - 13 = 6 and that is the answer 6.

  20. First I started with 54+27=81, then I added 13 which equals 94 and he said that he pays with 1 dollar coin and 100-94=6 so the answer is six.
