    15 x 3 = 45 45 x 10 = 450 - 100= 350+10= 360.

We were going to give ice cream to every tenth person but it melted? So we saw 10 balloons for 1.00 at a shop so every tenth person get's a balloon 3 people can fit in 1 basket but there is 15 in the Ferris wheel.
so every tenth person get's a balloon for free 3x15=45 450x8=3600
    $36

  8. I didn't figure out the strategy but here how I tried to solve the problem. I first wrote down what I know and what I needed to know.
    WHAT I KNOW
    1. There are 15 baskets on the Ferris wheel
    2.Each basket carries 3 people
    3.There are 10 balloons for $ 1
4.They are open for 8 hours
    5.Every 10th person gets a free prize

    WHAT I NEED TO KNOW
    1. How many people went on ?
After when writing down what I know and what I don't know I then wrote 3 x 15 = 45 then 10 rides per hour. I then had t figure out how many per a day. I tried it and my answer was 360. That's all I got and my answer 360.
