  1. Hi MRS I worked out $5 - 1.10 = 3.90 bs $5 - $2 = $3 + 90 = $3.90.
    $10 - 4.60 = 6.40 bs $10 - $4 = $6 + 40 =6.40

  4. mary had 5.00 and a choc attack bar costs 4.90 so 5.00-1.00-400 4.00-0.10=4.90
    Hine has 10.00 and she get's 4.60 change so 4.60+0.60=5.00 5.00+5.00=1.00

  6. This is my strategy that I done but I think it is wrong but I don't know.
    Number 1:
So first I done Mary has $5
And then I wrote Choc Attack is $1.10
Then the last bit I done was $1.10 + $3.90=$5

    Number 2:
First I done Hine has $10
Then I done She gets $4.60 change
Then the last bit I done was $10 - $6.40=$4.60

And that was all I done Hope you like it:)

  8. This is the way I solved the question 3. It said she had 1.10 and 90 cents. 1.10 + 90 cents = 2.00. So she had $ 2.00. The chips were 1.10. So then I did $ 2.00 - 1.10 which equaled 90 cents. So she put 1.10 in the vending machine and got back 90 cents.

    Number 1
    $5 - Mary
    Bar of chocolate - 1.10
    $5 - 1.10 = 3.90

  10. 1. 5-1=4 , 10c-4=3$ and 90c.
    2. 4$ and 60c+40c=5$ , 5+5=10, 5$ and 40c.

  11. Mary has $5 - $1 and 10c = $3 and 90c

    Hine has $10 - __= $4 and 60c and the answer is $5 and 40c

Tai bought a chip and and he got back $1 and 10c so he wasted 20c and got back 90c
