Weddell Seal - By Anisha


WALT We are learning to summarise the main points of a paragraph.

In the sea the seals are fast swimmers and sometimes clumsy. Seals are graceful and nice but they do go on ice to have a rest or giving birth to her pups .All seals are fast,clumsy and graceful under land but sometimes they have to go on ice to sleep or give birth to their pup.

Seals are mammals that live in oceans all over the world .All of the seals at Antarctica are non eared seals .These seals have lots of blubber to keep them warm.Seals have thick ,short hair on their streamlined body,to keep them warm.

Seals have thick ,short hair on their streamlined body,to keep them warm. They have flippers to help them be superb swimmers . Most of the time seals are in the seas.

Did you know that there are about 30 million crabeater around Antaic and instant they like to eat krill not crab. And in common crabeater seals are the most common eater seal .
Leopard seals are good hunters underwater and can also move fast but when it comes to going on ice they go slow and the reason why is because they go and try to get some penguins for their prey but when they try to the penguins ain't scared because they are faster on ice .

Weddell seals are the only seals that can spend the winter on ice but the others well they go to a place where it is nice and warm there .and if i was a seal i will want to be a weddell seals to.
